1. What motivated you to become a health care professional?
To help others. I have chosen to share and provide services that have either helped myself directly or a family member. The biggest motivation came from my families exposure to different modalities and the results that we all received. Our parents (due to their own experiences) always sort out alternative options to health care and that as a result resonated with me. All the modalities that I use at the clinic are modalities that I have personally experienced in a positive way. Being able to share these modalities with others is a rewarding thing which I am so grateful for.
2. What is your favourite thing about working for TPP?
Working with clients and joining in their journey.
3. What do you do to keep balanced in life?
FAMILY and ART! When I am not at the clinic, I am with my family. I have a loving wife and two beautiful children who hold me in balance and keep me grounded. When the little ones are in bed I then have time for my other passion – ART. I love and choose a creative outlet and I get that through my artwork.
4. What is your favourite food to cook?
I would have to say that it is a tie between slow cooked Osso Buco and Steak and Guinness Pie. So simple yet sooo rewarding – Yum!
5. Where is your favourite place that you have traveled to?
On our honeymoon Kirsty and I traveled around Canada during December / January (Winter). We have done our fair share of travel since then and I don’t think anything has matched it for me. So beautiful.
6. Who are the most inspirational people in your life?
My Parents. So much of what I have to be grateful for in this world is thanks to the influence of my parents throughout my life.
7. What is one interesting thing that nobody really knows about you?
When I was in Primary school I always thought and said that when I grow up… “I want to have 6 children”. Now that I have two children I have decided that two or three will do.
8. What is your favourite quote that inspires you?
'There but for the grace of God go I.' For me this quote is about having gratitude for everything that I am and everything that I have. It also instills respect of others and confirms a choice to never judge others.
